South Korean actress Kim Sae Ron was found unresponsive at her Seoul residence by a friend on Sunday.
Forbes reported that the police confirmed her death occurred on the same day and are investigating the cause.
"We have not found any signs of foul play as of yet, but we are investigating the circumstances of the death," stated a police official, as cited by The Korea Times.

In recent years, Kim faced personal challenges, including a 2022 incident where she drove under the influence and crashed into a guardrail and transformer, resulting in a 20 million won (US$13,875) fine.
Born in 2000, Kim started acting at nine and gained fame early on as a child actress. She won hearts with her performances in the 2009 film "A Brand New Life" and the 2010 film "The Man From Nowhere," marking her as a child prodigy in the industry.
In 2014, her role in "A Girl at My Door" as a victim of bullying and domestic abuse brought her critical acclaim and several award nominations, earning her the Best New Actress at both the 35th Blue Dragon Film Awards and the Golden Cinematography Awards.
